Message: <blockquote data-quote="truthwatch" data-source="post: 7600887" data-attributes="member: 281141">   so what my islamic friend here basically trying to say is that just because some things are predicted correctly(well,you can't say they are described exactly but with some near meanings...and also most things are observable facts) and some are incorrectly("yet to be proven" as a muslim would say),,,it should be the "true" thing????....and everybody should accept it???? right??every religion has made such statements about various things which later on scientists have found to be true..it's not only for islam......so other people here can also tell you the same thing which you said as "no one of you is accepting anything as ego preventing you from accepting the truth".....you people are talking about islam in "sooo great" fashion because you know only about islam......me as a person who got the chance to learn the other main religions(as i have catholic and muslim 1st cousins) knows that all the other religions also tell such things...for example,in buddhism,buddha more than 2500 years ago,talks in so much depth about the many kinds of galaxies that exists in this universe which the scientists very recently getting to know about.....like wise,i can describe in many fields including medicinal,which buddha talked more than 2500 years ago,which scientists are discovering now...but non of the buddhists will specifically talk about them with you and say "looks this is how my book says and see how accurate my book is" like you muslims do....because that's not what we expect from a religion.....that's not what a religion is for.....a religion is not about attracting followers by some odd "miracles",label them as their followers,call it the only true religion by it's own-self,and frighten it's followers by threating to send to "sure hell" if they leave that religion......we don't call such things as works of a "religion".....anyway,i don't wish to talk about these things more.....but as an advise,i would like to tell you people not to openly say that your religion is the "perfect" one because you are only making other people take your kind for a laugh,and look down at it.......and according to your description,if Albert Einstein lived in about 1000 years ago,he could have also called himself a prophet......isn't it so......</blockquote>
