    For private vehicles (motor cars, vans, SUVs, three-wheelers, and others), the maximum LTV ratio is capped at 50% of the vehicle's value

    This means the financial institution can only finance up to 50% of the 18 million LKR value for a private vehicle, which is 9 million LKR. The remaining 9 million LKR must be paid as a down payment

    remember you should pay full insurance as well

    mama nam kyanne maseta laksha 3ka warikekata yanna epa kyana eka ubata kochara pluwan unath. eka risky wedi ban. mokak hari wela ubata gewanna beri unoth kela wenwa.
    Ubata mokak hari unath shape eke thawa masyak dekak adinna pluwan widihe gaanakata yanna.This is just a my idea mchn. Don't get me wrong

    If he has a good salary, it is possible to get a personal loan for 10M or 11M, If he has another property as a security (not a mortgage but a simple hold), he should be able to get a personal loan upto 15M.

    But, taking such a loan/lease for a vehicle is a stupid idea, he has to pay a lot of money as the interest and brand-new vehicle value will almost certainly be depreciating, so the total loss would be 4-5M(interest + depreciation) or more
