I did a bit of wing chun.
Unfortunately i got some problems with my Joints.
I'm on some serious Medication.
So hopefully I'm gonna Continue it by the end of this year.

Kung fu Is Awesome!!!!
Don't like Karate though.

well Now I live in Glasgow.
My sifu was Yasarathna in sri lanka. Didn't find a teacher in glasgow yet.
Haven't had practice Wing chun for 1 year
but hopefully I'll be on track as soon as my joints are fine

ela machan yes continue doin wing chun, try find a gud sifu in glasgow, dont learn frm the wicked as there are many fake sifus in those countries. it is the best martial art in da world for me, nothing can beat the real wingchun concept. Wht your gonna do, modern wingchun(grand master william chun style) or the traditional one?

never heard abt mr yasarathna, how he look lyk? age?

My Sifu is Prasanna Jayaweera, you may have heard abt him.

I'm a sixth level grader in Wing chun bt I have almost done everything in grandmaster william chun's WC syllabas
I have to do butterfly sword form, bt we dont care em much coz its useless for street fighting ne machan. we often do practical lessons.

I have done Sanshou. bt now im not doin tournaments in sanshou events

I do thaolu for tournaments, ma routines are Nan styles

heard that prasnna jayaweera also coaching to SL army Special forces ..

but wingchun style has much limitations..So the SFs are also trained to full contact versions of the Karate...

The most powerful kicks are originating from the "bound spring physics principle"..So most Taekwondo and karate or shorinji kenpo kicks are very power full

wing chun is never acepted as a complete combat form...(even the bruce lee has copied other martial arts to form his JEET-KUNE-DO...( do you know it man.?.)

Now I really regret that for not doing it when i was like 7 or something.Now I'm 16 so thought better late than never.
