Lake House employees protest against corruption

Employees of Lake House staged a protest today against the present management over corruption issues.

Lake House sources said the management has failed to clarify the loss of Rs.650 million allocated as financial reserve and Rs.350 million in share market.

Employees charged that the institution has incurred a loss of 170 million in 2010 and already is in debt of Rs.800 million.

"Lake House is incurring a loss of one million per day. Paper sales have dropped drastically. About two million rupees worth paper returned during the first four months this year," employees of Independent Employees Union said.

They said corruption and violence saw an increase since 2007, after Bandula Padmakumara was appointment as chairman.

who buy's the paper? when we send articles telling the truth about the Rajapaksha family they don't publish it. Also the whole paper is full of bullshit government papers are full of Mahinda and how the current government is PERFECT....

Opposition papers are talking about Mahinda's underwear.... instead of talking about his wrong doings... because if they talk about the wrong doings Mahinda says the media has to support the country... so automatically these people become "anti-country" people...

So drop of paper sales goes to show that there is no media freedom in the country and the people are aware of that... the paper has become a tool to brain wash people into thinking Mahinda as a king... and the king family... educated people don't get brain washed so they refrain from buying papers.... Look at Huddsen and his show! he talks only good of Mahinda.... EVEN GOD, EVEN LORD BUDDHA made MISTAKES.... how can he not talk of them? Of-course because he has to take care of his family... money is why his mouth is so big.

Its all logical... the UN assholes should stop messing around and arrest Mahinda and family as they are a curse to this country... because they have brain washed people the people don't see any thing... "Sinhalaya Modaya... kawun kanna yodaya"
