I think if there are oil deposits in SL coastal belt.. then THIS IS SRI LANKA'S BIGGEST BREAKTHROUGH and the long shot at success!! But alas, it all depends on the planning of the govt. in my personal opinion what we should do is make a long term plan, to acquire their knowledge and expertize while working with them...then slowly after sometime turn it into a fully Sri Lankan owned company!!And if we wait all the time until they dig the oil for us.. Sri Lankans will never get what they deserve!
