Laptop Care Tips

If you have any tips on how to take care of a laptop... please post...

I once plugged the power adapter connector to the laptop when it was connected to an unearthed mains supply and it burnt ma laptops’ motherboard… glad I could claim warranty on that though I had to pay a good 12k to send it to Singapore as there are no acer international warranty centers in Sri Lanka…

So I don’t want such a thing to happen again.. Not only to me.. Not to any laptop user…

So please share your knowledge…

Keep it locked inside your cupboard!
And throw away the key to the ocean for an additional layer of protection.

On 2nd thoughts, you are probably better off not buying one in the first place!

On 2nd thoughts, you are probably better off not buying one in the first place!

Yeah.. I went there... They are acer dealers but they aint any international warrenty centre ne.... +they don't deal the model I have - Acer Aspire 4720, yet they checked ma laptop n told tht it's d mobo n tht they dnt have ma model.... if it was sm thing like a RAM, they may hv replaced it.....

lol.... do you keep ur laptop plugged in to AC power all the time you use? I want to know what's best for d laps battery life.... as far as I knw, the best thing is to use AC power every time as possible and like once in a week use the battery alone until it discharge and the charge it.....

i thought they'll provide the full service to us..
