Laptop CPU speed Help??please Urgent

machan I have a ASUS K42F laptop with p6100 which is I3 cpu without hyperthreading.problem is it is running at 930mhz core clock.but it should be running at 2.00 stock speed.There is no option in Bios to change core clock.

How to fix or will i have to go for waranty

Just put da laptop on High Performance, I think ur running on max battery settings which down clocks the CPU!

930mhz is normal processing power(or current)using for your tasks but it could go up to 2.0ghz when need...so no problem!

put on high performance but its still 930mhz on Everst & CPUZ (Which are true analysers)but windows system window 2.0(this is stock speed)not current speed.current speed is 930mhz.what should i do........

solved when i put on high performance it keep increasing when needed stepping is turned on when high performance is selected.in battery saving mode it runs at at constant speed of 930mhz.thankx for helping me out
