Premadasa, yes.. it was a moot point, and eventhough I was too little to speak those days, I am sure many many people indeed TALKED against it clearly risking their lives.

Keep in mind that Lasantha is just another voice.. there are many many more voices behind him that would come forward to speak. Oppression using fear is a primative method my friend.. and it will never work in modern era.

As of another point, Ranil was never convicted in running the Batalanda camp. Trust me when I say Chandrika tried all her might to get him entangled in it... going far as to plant false evidence as well.. but he was never convicted of that crime.. So !! sorry. you are wrong there.
