Don't forget that Tamils living in Colombo, Tamils live in Jaffna and even Prabhakaran are citizens of Sri Lanka. If you're saying NO, then you support their so called EELAM.
So in order to win the war, or rather to weaken the LTTE, government did use bombs against their own citizens. So I personally don't see anything wrong with that statement and it does not accuse the Army. That is the nature of war and we have to accept it. And freedom of speech is a basic human right. (At least it was, when I checked the legislation last time.)
And the top part of it also very true. You have to treat the root cause of the conflict.
The last bit about state terrorism, I don't know. Anyway if that's not true, then the Government have their rights to sue Sunday Leader for creating a false image. And since the government didn't act against it, the only logical conclusion is that there is state terrorism in Sri Lanka.

Yes, LTTE thinks that they are the sole supporter for Tamils. And even the majority of tamils thinks that way. But why should we care about it? We all know the truth. Yes. LTTE only wants an eelam. But they won't get it soon.
