First of all find availability and your usage.

I highly recommend HP.

Do u live in Colombo or Sri Lanka?

HP is very good. Laserjet 1010 series is the cheapest.

The catridge is expensive (8000 rs I think), but you can print up to 4000 pages. So 2 Rs per page, which is much cheaper than InkJet. 6 pages per minute speed
