In July 2000 her first single comes out, "Moi... lolita", after she met Laurent Boutonnat and Mylene Farmer. To date, almost 1.5 million copies were sold in France alone. By this time the media started to pay attention to the "Alizee phenomenon".
After only 4 months of career, on November 17, 2000, Alizee surprisingly wins her first award: the "M6 award of the French-speaking revelation of the year". She launches her first album, called "Gourmandises" in January 2001.
On February 25, 2003 her new single "J'en ai marre!" comes out, followed by her second album "Mes Courants Electriques" on March 18.
April 28, 2005: Alizee gives birth to her daughter, Annily. In February 2006 she writes a letter to her fans telling them that she will be back soon in the spotlights.
