LCD TV Buying Help !!

Hi Guys,
I'm planing to buy a LCD TV. So i decided to get instructions Elakiri Guys
I saw one from SAMSUNG
Its LA40C530F1

Its 40" LCD Has Build in media player for USB
The best thing is it can Play MKV files

Price is Rs. 144,000 /=
For easy payment Rs 166,000/=

What do u think ?
Is SAMSUNG brand ok ? Do u know any cheaper place ?
What are the main things I need to consider while buying LCD TV ??

there are only three major LCD panel manufacturers in the whole world

1 S-LCD - a joint venture between samsung and sony.. so basically all sony & samsung lcd tvs come fitted with panels made by this firm

2. LG

3. Sharp

all the other manufacturers either buy panels from one of these manufacturers and fit their own electronics or buy from 3rd grade cheap chinese crap and sell..

so if you buy one from sony, samsung, lg or sharp, you are sure to get a good quality LCD TV.

panasonic viera is good, now if u can buy LED tv also good, 3D LED tvs also awailble. My openion buy Sony or Samsung. according to ur budget

LED is GOOD but its very expensive RS. 300,000 ++

The best thing in SAMSUNG is its built-in MKV player

machn 3D tvs are also available in SL... i saw ads on panasonic and samsung 3d tvs... Samsung is known as the worlds no 1 LCD tv manufaturer while panasonic is the no 1 for plasma tvs.

if you are buying samsung make sure they are not made in India. usually samsung tvs made in Korea come with the best quality... Indian ones are nothing but crap no matter their brand..
