Chief Prelate of Asgiriya Chapter Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thera presided over the discussion.Speaking to media, the Anunayake of the Malwatte Chapter, Ven. Niyangoda Vijithasiri Thera said the draft will be published today (6th) or tomorrow (7th) after further discussions. He said the proposal is intended to present the facts to the government and the people.Ven. Vijithasiri Thero reiterated that there is a continuing uncertainty among the people regarding the current situation in the country's social, economic and administrative spheres.The Maha Sangha pointed out the importance of the Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim and other communities working together with a single commitment at this uncertain moment.Expressing his views further the Anunayake Thera said they hope to affirm the sustainable message that Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim and all the other communities in the country should act in harmony with one accord at this time."At the same time, we think the departure of the Muslim ministers from the government should not have happened. Therefore, we request those Muslim leaders to return to the administration and resume their responsibilities," he said. The Thera also said that if there were allegations against ministers or other important officials of the government, they should come forward and prove their innocence to the government, security forces and the people.The Venerable Thera said injustices caused after the Easter Sunday attacks should not increase further and if the fear and uncertainty which prevails in the country following the attacks was allowed to continue the country will face an economic crisis and people's lives could further deteriorate.The Prelate also said that if the challenges are not well understood and take remedial action, the external influences will enter the country and the hard earned peace and economic stability will be lost with disastrous results.</blockquote>
