Learning sinhala, speaking english

    Ummm....Sorry My First Language is Sinhala.....
    Isn't there Classes or something like that in UK for learning Sinhala ? ? ?

    Its an amazing language! Its so pretty, and it sounds reallllly awesome. The only problem I have is that people speak too fast.
    I have a few sinhalese friends too.
    And plus, im planning on coming to live in sri lanka, so i think i should know

    lol haha so you think uk ppl don't speak too fast? i mean english ..hehe ya you gta find some sinhala friends and practice it with em ;)

    Thats the place! Try the 'Sri Saddatissa international Buddhist centre' on kingsbury rd. The teacher's name is mr Wimal Dasilva. You will probably get a one on one class as there are not that many people wanting to learn the language.

    If not.. You can get an interactive dvd for your computer from a company called 'eurotalk'. That is fantastic for the basics. Check it out.

    Yeah, I really am serious about learning the language properly. I've got books, and that, but they are a bit out-dated and I would prefer to just have a teacher that can help with pronounciation and that.
    Haha, im meant to be doing some work right now.
