The telecommunication levy on internet and broadband services in Sri Lanka will be reduced by fifty per cent with effect from January 2013, the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) said.
TRCSL Director General Anusha Pelpita told Daily Mirror that the telecommunication levy would be reduced from 20 per cent to 10 per cent from next year.

Apparently, a good news for the new year
. But, will the customer be benefited from this? 
. SLT ought to give this & a better service to their customers. I don't know a lot about the other services. So, What do you think?.
