• Many HD television sets use Linux (eg. Philips LCD/Plasma TV - use Linux - called mythtv)
• You can even run Tally on Linux (surprised, this is true)
• Wall-street is using Linux.
• Remember Y2K, Linux sytems did not face that problem.
• Linux is very efficient
• It requires very very less amount of hardware resources.
• Consider this against VISTA.
• Linux is Open source which means you can change how Linux works
  CAN YOU DO THAT TO MS WIN ?
• No, you have to work the way MS decides.
• Linux gives you freedom of choice.
• Linux is not a company.
• Many people think that Linux is a name of company, now initially they are selling for free, but once popular they will start charging like MS.
• This is not true, Linux is Open source (i.e. FREE)
• Free as in free press (liberation), not as free beer.
• Linux is not a demo version.
• Many people think that since Linux is free, it might some sort of demo version. that it might not work perfectly.
• This is not so, linux is perfectly working professional peice of software.
• Linux can easily run 24x7
• Linux had multitasking/multiuser support much before Windows had.
