well i wasnt saying its a bad thing.
obviously..its bad..but i think the rulez should be put in a place where everyone can see them..
no one reads rules and regulations on 'i agree' thing..
to tell the truth i didnt know wht spam was..till i spammed myself!!

SPAM kiyanne machang... Like Advertising Sri Lankan web sites, Referral marketing etc.
To make it short.. SPAM means, attracting ElaKiri traffic (members) to another site to gain some profit / benefit. (Profit maybe financial or some value like google rankings, number of hits etc.)
Porno also can be considered as SPAM, coz they are trying to promote their websites here.
Guess you got the idea

x-pert has been always a great contributer for elakiri in every way. He did the spam busting job from the start too but requested not to post the name for sometime. Anyway as other supporters also started to contribute he backed off a little bit.pamithK said:

Site ekaka ads daanne salli hoyannane to pay for the hosting of the site and DNSs etc.
But issarahata ads daanna weyi meyana widihata. Coz Server eke capacity eka wadi wenawa kiyanne hosting walata loku gaanak gewanna wenawa...
I guess we have to pay about $100 ATLEAST for hosting now. [not sure though]

I don't know.. But that's why I have that kind of a respect to him. Coz no one else would do such kind of a thing to just for the sake of other people.
But GT now it's time to put some ads and to earn some revenue atleast to cover 10 - 20% of the costs...

It may be not complaining machan but kinda insulting when you ask don't you go out at least to pee from x-pert. Its totally giving a bad image for our great elakiri supporters.
Anyway i know you also give good support for elakiri and love the community, I said that for those who just come to get something from this site but has no feeling for the community.
Its actually the biggest part of the money comes from Chamith. All together around $200 for a month after new server.
Anyway i think i will have to put some ads coz friends network and auction coming very soon. They are almost 90% done. So they will use lot of server power.
