I just got .lk domain. What I want to do it to add MX records to point to google apps email and create A record pointing to my hosting. I managed to update MX records but I am not sure how to update A record pointing to my hosting account.

What should I add for following parameters?

Not sure if they have a public DNS portal for customers now.
Anyway email them with nameservers of your hosting account. [email protected]

If you setup nameservers you can simply update your Google MX in cPanel by your self.

If you dont set nameservers you have to send your MX and A record to hostmaster. Login to your account in nic.lk and select the domain and update your record. Once they approved it. Your DNS will work soon

Thanks. But I want to use other resource records. I dont want to use hosting DNS. I want to direct to hosting account with an A record. This is something I have done easily with namecheap & godaddy. Anyway I will contact them.

Best way is to point name servers to your hosting and setup mx records to G-Suite.
