Few years ago another channel used one of my videos and YouTube flagged it and I requested a takedown and looks like the persons channel has been terminated. The person contacted me requested a retraction of the claim saying bogus stuff like oh I didn't know I am sorry blah blah. He even pretended to be a white woman called Jennifer using an AI voice.
So I said I need $200 for unauthorized use of my content. Once paid I will retract the copyright claim. He says he wants escrow and doesn't want to send me money directly whatever and I totally ignoreed his emails from that point.
Now 3 years later he's email again saying he's willing to send payment now. I wasn't comfortable receiving money for copyright retraction cos it could be construed as extortion.
Now he voice called me from messenger and turns out his name is Onyebuchi Andrew
from Nigeria and I told him all Nigerians are scammers and you stole my video and its your fault this happened and I am uncomfortable dealing or receiving money from you. And thats my final answer!
And blocked him before he could reply.
