How to stop gruops like LTTE in the future
the most divide country in the world?
No doubt it is India..
India is worlds 7th biggest country
and 2nd biggest population...
in india there is a powerfull caste system.
we all know that dalits(pahath kulaya) are deprived of opportunities..
there is over 100 million dalits in india..
and in india there are more than 80 languages.
and many religions...
we all know that indian muslims and hindus are not friendly..
there have been many riots between them..
and aslo in india there are many leberation rebels just like LTTE
e.g
naxals rebels..
the siks extrimist
........
the sikh extremist are seeking for a seperate homeland for sikhs in punjab..
there has been many bloody battles between sikhs and the indian govenrment in the past.
and when india got independence the tamils in tamilnadu asked for a seperate homeland for tamils..
the govenrment rejected it..
the ask for a seperate homeland is still there,guys like viko..
but the central govenrment dont allow them to that..
there is a oath ,which mps have to take when sworn in as mps in loke saba
it is
i will not do any harm to the sovergnity of my country..
but still sikhs like a seperate country
aslo tamils..
but why cant they get it.
they know the only way to get is by force,by military power..
but they cant
why
because if they have to do it,thye have to fight against the indian army!
how can you fight with the worlds 4th most powerfull and 2nd biggest army?
A army with blue water capabilties!
with nuclear wepaons
no way!!!!
the indian army can only be controlled by the central govenrment..
people wonder why india has such a powerfull army..
one reason is to fight agaisnt groups who fights for a seperate homeland....
other is ofcourse beacuse of the threat thye have form nieghbouring counties..
For a country which has multi ethnics it is verry important to have a powerfull army..
in the 70s sri lanka did not have a powerfull army
nor did they have a powerfull army in the early 80s
that is why gruops like LTTE tried to fight for a seperate homeland
if we had a powerfull army at those times
LTTE would not even dream of fighting for seperate land..
they knew that sl army is not strong those days
that is why they started thier military gruop...
that is why it is important for sri lanka to have a powerfrull army ,even after LTTE is finished ...
