Bro some people says they viwed as green some of people says dey have seen dis in different colour..Buddarayses coming around da head. but machan we canot say exactley about dat . other thing is the head of the Lord Buddha n head of a staue can never compare. U r correct dat all of dese staues were made by cement or some other thing. But dont forget dese stautes are survived in Tsunami also. The buddha statues are not making like as other stues, there is perticuler time to start dat work and i thin u have heared about "Nethra Mangalya" b4. Other thing is can u guess how much that staue maker had to concentrate when chasing some statues like Aukana, n Samadhi n statues in a one solid stone?. can u belive how much of a belief he had in Lord Buddha??. may be those statues are made in Ciment or wood or what ever..people who comes in to da front of dat perticuler statue never think dis is a staue dat made in some metirial. they always taking and get their hands together and worship it as dis is our "Samma Sambudu Budu Rajanan Wahansay"..daz why people still respect Buddha statues on besides street also.. Actualy the devotion can b recognize like dat.
How ever actualy i wz tried to tell different thing..the thing I have said was, some of people started to make dis matter as a delusion from the beging without any single investigation, what hez or her privilege to challenge the belif of the majority in dis country through media,by da basis of hes Msc or MBA?..
da case of davici code is bit different , dat film was not made to brea the belief of christian comunity. itz not necesary to loose the faith becaouse of a movie anyway. if they do such a thing, in Budhist people dun even venerate budhist monks because of da movies were made by some basterds like Ashoka Hadagama.

Well machan none has seen Buddha’s rays coming from head or around the body. All have seen coming in front edge of the Siwura. That’s ridiculous haha. Don’t get me wrong but I heard some one saying....
“Machan dan budu rass enne oluwen nemei, hatta assen”
I know it’s not a good comment to make, but he is some what correct because people should have think wisely. I’m telling again Buddhism not for fools! Buddha also told that!
Well about the Tsunami statute survival, I don’t believe in that. No one talking about the destroyed statutes, all talking about the survived ones. Now don’t tell me none of the statutes were destroyed. I am talking about all the statutes not only the big ones in city or near roads.
Other thing as you know statutes are made of cement, concrete etc.. The are not using that much bricks inside too. So now you’ll say man those big concrete walls/building were down too. The thing is concrete walls and buildings block the water and create pressure. So when it can’t hold anymore, it breaks in to peaces. And other thing they use bricks inside those walls and buildings too.
In other hand when we take statues they are perfectly round corners not straight lines blocking the water pressure. And they are not making really big block for water too so not creating that much pressure. You can see dams created with curves not as straight, that’s to minimize water pressure on them.
Other thing most of those statues has big iron lines running inside the whole structure. And some even have frames created from iron, they apply cement over it. So they are almost really strong. Contractors may use cheap/less materials for buildings to make profit, but statutes are not made by contractors and people who made them doing it with greatest effort and material they can use.
Well if we take ancient statues you can see only statue has been saved the temple around it, other buildings all destroyed by the time. It’s just the material they were built, pure stone in one block! Ah! you can see everywhere even statures are destroyed one other thing still saved, stone towers(Gull Kanu) !
As you said in my opinion there should be statues and its okay to worship them, because we are thinking about the Buddha and worshiping him and his Dhamma. We are just using that statue to memorize Buddha. But if you worship the statue in blind mode you are not a Buddhist.
