LTTE attack on the air force base continues

Reports from Colombo revealed that a LTTE plane bombed the Sri Lanka Air force base in Anuradhapura at about 3 AM this morning.

Military Spokeperson Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said that a small group of LTTE armed cadres have infiltrated and attacking Anuradapua Air Force

Civilians around the vicinity of the air force base, when contacted said that they heard explosions as well as the sound of a single LTTE plane arrival without any lights and drop bombs to Air Force base.

According to report,the fighting is still continuing.
