LTTE attacks passenger bus; 3 civilians killed, 16 wounded

At least 3 civilians were killed and 16 others reported wounded when LTTE terrorists opened fire at a passenger bus plying from Monaragala towards Katharagama, at the 49th mile post along the Buttala-Katharagama main road, Friday (July 11), at around 10:15 a.m.

The injured civilians were rushed to the general hospital at Katharagama.
