After many pleas by the JHU and other patriots to heads of Governments in
the EU Countries including the British PM, French President & EU President,
the EU has finally decided to instigate legal action against the Leader of
the LTTE Terrorists Vellupillai Pirahabaran for crimes committed by him
against humanity at the World Court in the Hague, The Netherlands . We
thank the EU for this bold decision even at this late stage. The chargers
would include murdering the democratically elected peoples representatives
including President Premadasa and many Tamil leaders and assassination of
former Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi. Other chargers are the continued recruitment
of Child soldiers despite many pleaders in the contrary to UN
organizations, Killings of innocent civilians and using of unethical
tactics such as suicide bombings, involvement in International Drug
trafficking, Human smuggling, Money Laundering & dangerous weapons smuggling.
We hope that by this action we would be able to insert the final nail in
to the coffin of LTTE Terrorism which would lead to a prosperous Nation
where ethnic & religious harmony among all our peoples. Finally the Tamils
of this country would be able to stand up with dignity with their rich
cultural heritage rather than being harassed or looked down as traitors or
murderers.
All patriots should bare in their mind to pressurize the GOSL and relevant
authorities to take meaningful action to enable this very important legal
process a success. The JHU would assure all citizens that we would take a
leading role in this process and would keep a close watch at the events
which are to follow in the future.
