actually those r abandon tanks.....
few tanks abandon by army due to thy stuck on mud....and army couldn't recover them........due to heavy confrontation frm LTTE.....they blow up the controls and abandon the tanks.......

probably one of those.............

may be.. but many years ago... when the ltte ballos... captured our camp (more info Diyatha (lanka deepa) few weeks ago) they got our tank with all its instruments...

i don't think this is a abandon one in the mud couz.. when our troops distory their own tanks or cannons they know how to blow them to the end..

its not a prob T55 got a simple diesel engine and .. Its easy to repair... the fire arms are also... so.. normal garage bass could keep it oparational

uba beelada? granades, claymore wont even dent it.. the c4 u are talking must be put staright at the hull just above the engine.. even that cant ensure 100% destruction of the tank..

it must be hit directly with anti tank weaponry. which i suspect that army havent got.

the best tactical attcking move is to get it immobile and get it surrounded. 1 tank wont make a diffearace if u dont have the necessary infantry units to co-ordinate with.

true..SL army might no have those anti tanks.. but cannon or a SAM (anti air) or even motar can take it down..

pls take a look at (T) tanks structure...you could c these faults

they are light wight and designed for limited and non high offensive attacks... lyk LTTE..SO

there are NO Undercover SHELL.. = can destroy by a popup land mine (anti tanks)
NO driver safety system = so even a AK47 can get the driver Down
the Cannon canopy is a open model .= so when they open it.. we can use Grenades,
the exhaust is also open to the sky so.... yo know the result.
shell is not a tuff (OL15/ or later) so could destroy by a direct Cannon/motar attack..

and not only that.... a combined clemo can brack its belts.. or even the shell... SO...wht...

LTTE knows this and they distroyed our tanks by thease methords over years....

RPG can do the job! the problem is getting close to do it... Air Force should take care of these... if these claims are true!!

i think the safest thing is to get it cramped up from all sides and pop the cherry with an mk80.

i dont think an ak 47 would be best against that.. even to take out the driver. the 200 metre spray type is good for infantry assaults but i think a marksman must take a shot at the driver with sumtin that has more accuracy.

and if the tank has a secondary attachment (7.62 mm SGMT) or a more heavy weapon.. it'll be hard to get near the hatch for a grenade attack,
