I'm not saying that 4 year SLIIT is bad but 3 year Australian is far more recognized in anywhere either in SL or abroad and it will be useful if you go abroad one day.   If you can spend some money (more than 1.5 million) do IIT British degree. They offer well recognized Bsc(Eng) at there. Best foreign degree you can get in SL and they also have IT information systems degree too. They also give you 6 months industry training for both degrees which is very valuable when you start working. (AFAIK only math people can do Bsc(eng) at there but I'm not sure) In fact it doesn't matter how much money you have or how rich you are. They don't give you a degree certificate just for your money and you have to work hard to earn your degree. It applies for any field of studies.   Especially in IT your talents, attitude and your abilities matter most. Good luck!</blockquote>
