There were no immediate reports of injury from the quake, centered outside suburban La Habra, about 20 miles from downtown Los Angeles, however, families at Disneyland were left stuck on rides as hundreds of stores and homes were ruined by damage. The area was initially hit by a 3.6 earthquake earlier in the evening before the larger blast was felt.
