At present 15,000 to 50,000 cutouts of all sizes have been put up throughout the island. Ministries have separately spent billions for food and travelling for thousands of ‘invitees’ entertained at official residences of the President in Colombo, Kandy and Anuradhapura.   Millions more have been spent for fuel; allowances of crews of vehicles including CTB buses that are deployed for President’s election campaign say these sources.  </blockquote>
