The suspects were arrested after they surrendered to the CCD today. Two of the six suspects were officers of Minister Mervyn Silva's ministerial security division.
The suspects arrested for assaulting a foreign couple at a night club in Colombo have been identified from the video footage of the security cameras at the club.
The suspects include a salon owner, a businessman, a chef, a body guard of Malaka and 2 MSD officers of the Minister. They are residents of Kelaniya, Pannipitiya, Kurunegala and Rajagiriya areas.
The CCD arrested Malaka Silva on November 1 following a complaint lodged by the foreign couple at Bambalapitiya police that they were assaulted by his security personnel.

The six suspects will be produced in the Colombo Magistrate's Court today, the police said. The junior Silva has been remanded till November 18.
