The travel between islands is by ferry or speedboat. Some resorts have seaplane transport.What's there is basically the sea and all water sports. If you are into these then it's alright. There are some resorts that have all inclusive deals, that  includes liquor. Note it's a muslim country. Only the resorts and some floating bars are licensed to sell liquor.Don't worry about island hopping. It's easy. Also the packages are seasonal and rates can vary a lot.  Everything depends on your budget. Enquire from a few travel agents who does Maldives tours.</blockquote>
