Her grand mother passed away few years ago & afterwards they had arranged a memorial where whole village was invited for lunch but the day before, people came to assist the preparation of food.I live in ragama so to me this is very strange & one of kind experience."In a world where everybody envies each other, they are friendly & look after their community." which was wonderful to see.It was wonderful moment , the lunch was very authentic with village taste.They served curd with treacle as dessert.Yummy ah!#Matara is greener & coastal but weather is a mix of warm & cool if you live Outskirts.#Every thing you plant there it grows, from rice to Cinnamon.#it's pitch dark at night if the land is surrounded by trees , snakes <img class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" alt="🐍" title="Snake    :snake:" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/6.6/png/unicode/64/1f40d.png" data-shortname=":snake:" />, under developed roads, some areas with no electricity poles.#Ever heard of "kattayam chintaka" , some might know , he murdered few people but was eventually brought to justice.it's bit rural  & obsolete place where many wishes to give up there tradition to move in to a town or city for better life.It's sad but that's the truthI would love to visit there again ❤</blockquote>
