Mawbima Publish a Picture for Prophet Mohamed

In many instances some Sinhala newspapers has been taking racial, discriminative stance in reporting about Muslim community and Islam.

Rivira, Mawbima Lakbima and Divaina has taken very dangerous levels of hatred against Muslims by publishing biased and baseless articles about Muslims and Islam repeatedly.

In this sequence, on 24/07/2012 Mawbima has published an small article Prophet Mohammed with a picture of a person depicting him as the Prophet (I didn't post the full image here. I have cropped it). Not only that. There are many mistakes in the article too.

This editor may know surely the sentiments of entire muslim world after Denmark newspaper publish some cartoon sketches of Prophet Mohammed.

This also a one step of ongoing anti muslim campaign which worried amoung peace loving sri lankan Muslims

Firstly, I think you should let the editor know that this is against your beliefs or teachings etc. (i am referring to the picture.) He may not be aware of it.
Secondly, If I recall correctly, in Denmark the cartoon published was meant as an insult.
Finally, I am amused at some of the things written in this forum. Some have the mentality of 15 year old kids.

Don't just assume that people who write these things are all Sinhalese Buddhists. It could be anyone. No one wants another rift in our community.
