As I know the best MBA in SL is offered by PIM

yup, dont ever think about enrolling in PIM unless you can dedicate a fair bit of time to do assignments, exams and attending to classes.

4 terms per year with 3 modules each per term. (12 modules per year/ 24 for 2 years + Final thesis)
    each module has >
10 classes of 3 hours (Weekday or Weekend),
an individual assignment (3000 words) ,
    a group assignment (5000 words) ,
    and a final exam.

Attendance will be recorded via finger print, need 80% attendance for each module to sit for exams.
Each assignment will be submitted to turnitin software, so chances of plagiarism are zero.
you need to score more than 70% average to get a MBA, below that they only give a Post Graduate Diploma in management.

it's by far the best in SL with well established alumni in corporate sector, but balancing studies, work and family stuff is a fucking nightmare

University of Colombo Practices the same, But they have Trimesters for Two Years, + options of Course Work or Thesis Option. as a Matter of fact those are programs carry the weight of a MBA. you will realize the difference once you evaluate your award with an evaluation body. if you want to do it, do it correct or don't do it.

    Thanks for the details.

Do you have any recommendations to do an online Post Graduate Diploma instead of wasting time on the MBA?

Can any one recommend me a good masters of finance degree in Sri Lanka? Is masters of applied finance awarded by Japura worth?
You can International Business with CMB or General MBA with CMB or you can do Applied one in J'pura as well, if you clarify the purpose of gaining this academic I might be able to help you with a precious one. In SL only IPM, & Colombo are the highest rated among.

Machan Im more than glad to assist you yet in this case I prefer you doing the research part by yourself than asking from anyone, as long as you enroll with a two years full time MBA in State Uni you will have the full weight of a MBA. I guess you have your bachelors, which will fix your academic flow to perfection :) All the very best and decide wisely. Its "No waste" just do it correctly
