Message: <blockquote data-quote="kaushala1988" data-source="post: 10918910" data-attributes="member: 137855">no i dont have any hatred on u whatsoever....does'nt worth it as it seems an it's ur opinion an u hav the right to stand 4 ....it i agreesymbols r merely colors an patterns may b....but the evolution of moral standards hav given those symbols a meaning distinction specificity an uniqueness an pride...why ? ...merely what a flag does is 2 distinguish a nation ...so eventually it becomes a national symbol which represents it.....practices and rituals related to symbols especially like the national flag is something closely related to the country's dignity and pride....why ....coz by respecting the flag..v r not merely respecting the piece of cloth but the things which the flag represents..the nation..the religion etc. and .behind these symbols in the flag r the sacrifices made by all our heroes who hav sacrificed 2 bring this country to glory...that's y its not just a piece of clothif u chekout the world...countries which pay close attention on the repect of the flag an those which does'nt...u'l clearly find out that countries which wear the flag 4 underware an dresses r mostly which do not hav a solid history of their own...countries like  new Zealand...USA etc which were invaded by foreigners and kept under a new rule creating new version of the history of the country...histories which run back no more than 2 or 3 centuriesfor us ..things r not the same....v hav a  history which v can b proud of and that history created by our past people is what's only left 4 us 2 b proud of...respecting the flag is one way of respecting our historyin clear sense...the flag will not help to preserve the pride unless we give it the respect it deserves.......by respecting it we show 1 aspect of our patriotism 2 the world an 4 us...respecting the flag is kind of a mental elixir...pretty much like worshiping a religious leader where v actually kneel in front of a clay statue...so i can b ur frnd an i hav no intention of makin rivals with u...but i hav my own standards an u can live on urs</blockquote>
