I write this with a warning to all who would buy a future puppy or dog from Eshan Silva.
He is a puppy broker and a commercial breeder and commercial importer of dogs, he encourages pet shop puppies as he regularly supplies puppies to pet shops in Sri Lanka. Do not sell him your pet puppies as they would end up in a pet shop. He also purchases puppies from pet shops in Thailand and sell them in Sri Lanka, often sick and does not take responsibility for the diseases. These puppies often die. Entire shipments of dogs die as the attachments here show..
The pedigree he supplies is printed from a pet shop, only CKC accepts this pedigree as they do not know better.
If you do own a puppy off him or do buy a puppy off him, please make sure that he keeps to his word as and when you get documentation covering it by a bill of sale so that he does not claim that the animal is stolen or there is something pending.
He has police complains made against at Kohuwala & at Athurugiriya police stations.
I have attached proof herewith. These pups were imported by his brother Dilshan Silva to Sri Lanka
In addition to all these there are rumours that he had imported & sold a Golden Retriever female that ended up having testicles.
In the newest act, he had opened a pet shop in Mt Lavinia, close to Templers Roads. He has many puppies for sale. We should not encourage pet shops to sell dogs or cats. It is inhumane, the innocent puppies are kept in small cages and risk infection.
