You can build a high-speed railway from Colombo to Badulla, but tell us first how you plan to cover the return on investment on such an expensive project? Those countries have only implemented on the feasibility studies they've done and an average person in that country can afford the cost of travel in that train, you can't develop countries overnight.. need to go step by step!4. Even someday we build that high speed railway, we MUST keep this train running it has a BIG HISTORY behind it, and its the most scenic train ride in Sri Lanka probably one of the best in the region, this is a BIG tourist attraction too.However, One last point I agree with you is that, train stations can be a bit more cleaner!So please, we can't do everything others do.. we do what is suited for our country, Some things should be seen from an average Sri Lankan's perspective!Think about it!</blockquote>
