LIOC to sell petrol at Rs. 100

Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) says it has decided to comply with a ruling by the Supreme Court and sell petrol at Rs. 100 per litre. LIOC Managing Director K.R. Suresh Kumar said the price reduction would be effective from midnight today (Dec. 19th).
He added that decision was taken after the company received a copy of the SC ruling, today.

besides this news appered in 3 other websites including dailymirror,dailynews(lake house)
so no on can reject it saying its not true
'Marry' Christmas; greetings from Lake House

he special supplementary to be issued with state owned Lake House publication Sunday Observer on December 21 is proposing to 'Marry Christmas!'
Due to this single proof error, the Lake House is now destroying 92,000 cover pages of the Christmas supplementary. The loss to Lake House due to this error is Rs. 600,000. The Financial Manager of Lake House has informed the management to charge the damage from the persons who are responsible.
Reportedly, the female journalist who was responsible for the Christmas supplementary has gone on leave refusing accepting the letter seeking show cause. The Chief Executive Officer of the Editorial informed this to the Chairman of Lake House. Reportedly, the Chairman had not cared the matter and he had instructed to hand over the letter when the journalist would be back on duty.

Not only " marry Christmas " but " Christmas supplementary " is also an error my dear. So those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others.
