I personnaly knw him n his family, he is a man of his word, watever he says n does always there is a genuine straightforward real human inside him, not like these modern spineless punk retardish politikkkas, he is a man this country needs most in this era, cos tings are happenin so rapidly & there are hough n more anti forces who does not see any good in watever the good a gvt does for the countrys sake. I remenber once whn the war was going on hw he acted against a Ltte diaspora rally in Rome, the man came alone face to face with abt 500 potesters with a the SL flag in his hand n said " Warew eka eka mamath maragena marenna thamai awe" it was not a face scene to a tv camera & there were no medis present, i have that clip somewhere which was by a phone, will post later. Also I knw very well abt his past, since he was living in Bodagama- Thanamalvila. He was just an average man, but was a god to the villagrs cos everyone used to go to Silva's house whn they wanted a small loan to fam, whn they wanted food clothes o anythin, belive me. ( I knw no one will belive this ) once there was a fight in a CTB bus came from Comolbo to thanamalvila & the fight began just in frnt of his house where the innocent conducter was assaulted by some passengers & they have taken all the money, this was around 10pm. Mr Silva heard this & came to the road to check the scene, by that time he was not a minister neither a MP. The poor conducter was crying on the road cos he had to pay the lost money to ctb & a packed bus all the way frm colombo to thanamalvila earns a considerable amount for 1 trip, Mr silva went there, just removed the gold bracelet he had in his hand n asked the konda to go pawn it & pay the ctb. there is a lot more if u eed to knw, all wat i can say is do not judge a man by few simple tings, all of us can say this n that cos we are sitting in frnt of a Pc confortably n typing this probably in an Ac room while having a snack, but to feel it... u must do it, i do not care what the majority says, if he contest for the presidency, Ill Vote him. & beleve me peeps..... all the ground level ppl in thsi land are with him, the problem is they do not have PC's or Broadband to write in forums or blogs. thats the simplest ting all u geeks need to undstand!!!!
