Commentswhat a joke is this? this man should have been indicted ages ago..... this is how the rule of law is functioning in our blessed land ? Dr. TKPK Kaluarachchi NUS-Singapore.
Posted By: Dr. TKPK KaluarachchiFinally!! May justice prevail so that our beloved Sri Lanka can be rid of scum such as this pariah
Posted By: jasonStrip off everything please including his doctorate, attire and civic rights. He is a menace to the Sri Lankans. What about the Rupavahini case. Nimal Siripala and Anura Yapa must be still sleeping on it. It is over ten long months.
Posted By: AnneWhat is the use? Last time for issuing a cheque with forged signature what is the punishment he got? Just a warning!!! If it was an ordinary citizen he would have been behind bars. Who says that in the eyes of law everyone is equal? Not in Sri Lanka, here some are more equal than others!! Take the case of someone travelling on forged passport. If caught he is remanded and case goes on for years!! What happened to Karuna? He too travelled on a forged passport but was made a MP and given police protection on return!! Isn't this violation of the fundamental right to equality??
Posted By: Santhi MclelandA very good move to bring back Law & Order in a country. In the same manner, CJ & AG must indict the media men who have provoked him, secondly, no one has authority to physically assault another in democratic society, pl arrest those who hit MS. Further take immediate action over the people who are responsible for allowing all other media men into RUPAVAHINI premises while the incident,& without permission of authority, tomorrow LTTE will also enter the Rupavahini premises in the same manner. Also, as per recorded statements that various media men of other media organizations have been entered the TV premises by force!!!. So its call trespass, all their details and pics are available with Rupavahini, arrest them all for entering into Govt premises by force. These all we need to maintain law & order of our country.
