Message: <blockquote data-quote="LOL_SEEN" data-source="post: 20752076" data-attributes="member: 558837">Mihin Lanka to discontinue flights from Oct. 30 මිහින් ලංකා නවතියි <img src="http://adaderana.lk/news_images/39745909mihin5.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />                          මිහින් ලංකා ගුවන් සමාගමේ සියලු මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු මේ මස 30වන දින සිට නතර කිරීමට තීරණය කර තිබේ. එහි  ප්‍රකාශකයෙකු සඳහන් කළේ ඒ අනුව මිහින් ලංකා ගුවන් සමාගම විසින් පවත්වාගෙන  යනු ලබන සියලු ගුවන් ගමන් ශ්‍රී ලංකන් ගුවන් සමාගම විසින් සිදුකිරීමට  නියමිත බවයි. මිහින් ලංකා ගුවන් සමාගම සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකන් ගුවන් සමාගම  ඒකාබද්ධව මේ වන විට මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු සිදුකරන අතර මේ මස 30 වන දිනෙන් පසු  මිහින් ලංකා ගුවන් සමාගම එම මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතුවලින් ඉවත් වීමට නියමිතය. මිහින් ලංකා ගුවන් සමාගම සතුව ගුවන් යානා දෙකක් ඇති අතර එම ගුවන් යානා ද ශ්‍රී ලංකන් ගුවන් සමාගමට පැවරීමට කටයුතු කරනු ඇත. එම ගුවන් සේවය දෛනිකව විශාල පාඩුවක් ලබන බව ආණ්ඩුවේ මැති ඇමතිවරු පසුගිය කාලයේදී දිගින් දිගටම ප්‍රකාශ කර තිබිණ.       Sri Lanka’s loss-making budget carrier, Mihin Lanka today announced  the discontinuation of all flights and services with effect from October  30.   “This decision has been made by the Government of Sri Lanka, as part  of its long-term strategy to restructure the local aviation industry and  strengthen the national carrier’s offering and efficiency,” Mihin Lanka  CEO Suren Ratwatte, said in a notice to travel partners.   He assured all travel partners, that the routes in Mihin Lanka’s route network, will now be serviced by SriLankan Airlines.  “Whilst the discontinuation of Mihin Lanka marks the end of an era,  it also marks the start of a new chapter in Sri Lanka’s aviation  industry.”   “This new beginning will consolidate our resources and we will thus  dedicate our efforts to building a strong, efﬁcient and competitive  national carrier that will be a force to be reckoned with in the  region,” he added.   In this way, we will continue to contribute to the legacy of Sri  Lanka’s aviation industry and we hope that you will join us on this new  and exciting journey, says Captain Suren Ratwatte, who is also CEO of  SriLankan Airlines.  With a fleet comprising A320, A321 and A319 Airbus aircraft, Mihin  Lanka’s destination network includes Dhaka in Bangladesh, Jakarta and  Medan in Indonesia as well as Madurai, Kolkata, Gaya and Varanasi in  India.   The airline also flies to Sharjah and Bahrain in the Middle East, as well as Lahore in Pakistan and the Seychelles.</blockquote>
