Last time when I travelled my luggage was lost and the I came for a short stay for official matter , the treatment I received was pathetic. First they said luggage would be delivered to my residence withing hours as they have 3 more flights from Singapore, but when I did not get it they said they cant trace the luggage. I checked the luggage in Singapore and the Sri Lankan Airline counter in Singapore confirmed the luggage was in Singapore and  it was already interlined to Colombo. The customer service manager in Sri Lanka said they can only reimburse Rs 2,500 for the loss of the luggage to a Business Class passenger! I did not receive the luggage till I left(about 10 days and everyday I had to buy clothes as I had to attend dinners, conferences, etc and was told that they are still searching it) but on my way again got the luggage in Singapore!What I learned from this was,The airline was heavily overstaffed They are overstaffed but no co-ordinationIncompetency and lack of  professionalismCannot understand basics in the industryWith all these they ought to fall behind in the global market.(Latest ranking Srilankan is one spot above Ethiopian Airline. Mihin Air is not in top 100 airlines)</blockquote>
