Municipal councils are highly courrupt and waste of people's money!!!

There are so manymunicipal councils are highly corrupt ,there is too much regulation. We should get rid of them. Let the Provincial Council do its job instead of municipal councils. There are too many infighting in municipal councils. They are raking in Billions of rupees with building permits. Colombo has the richest municipal council after Parliament, not even Provincial council gets close to municipal council revenue.When auto drivers can be mayor of Colombo, then what can you expect in municipal council.
