JHU met Minister Ferial Ashroff and demanded that she intervene immediately to stop these unruly elements from destroying historical Buddhist sites. President Rajapakse has promised to the JHU that he would take meaningful actions to stop this land grab and will punish the perpetrators of this crime.</blockquote>
