For those with an error message after you insert the disk:

1.) Insert
2.) Wait for the error message.
3.) Log in the Diagnostics menu keys simultaneously holding down the Menu, Map and Back.
4.) Select Version, and click OK (click for a large joystick.)
5.) Select Download and press OK.
6.) Then wait for the download is complete (may take a few minutes), then the navigator will reboot. You can use it!

Galaxy Instruments has released Galaxy Vintage D, a virtual grand piano that is based on samples of Bauer Studios' famous 1920 Steinway D, which has served for legendary recordings. This exceptional Steinway concert grand was built in 1920 in Hamburg in the German factory of Steinway & Sons.

Over the last 90 years it has achieved a deep and intimate character and a beautiful singing tone. Some of the best pianists have recorded legendary albums on this instrument, among them Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Carla Bley, Guillermo and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Abdullah Ibrahim, Wolfgang Dauner, John Taylor and many others. Richie Beirach called it 'the best piano in the world'.

1. Enhancements
For the update 1.2 of all Galaxy Pianos we have rewritten the whole script, so a lot has happened under the hood including better performance in general.
Repedaling and Halfpedaling have been enhanced and fine tuned.
The Global Preset dropdown menu now offers an enhanced load/save function for user presets.

2. Fixes
Under certain circumstances softer notes were killing louder notes during repetition with the sustain pedal down.
Resonance samples for keys higher than G5 sometimes did not trigger correctly.
Other minor fixes.

3. Changes
After rewriting the whole script, we chose not to include the Warp Engine again. For those who miss it, we have included an instrument called "Galaxy Piano_old version with Warp". We did keep the "Pad Machine", though.
We have dropped "Voice Management" as well, which is now handled exclusively by Kontakt itself.
The old "Compact" versions with a reduced number of samples are obsolete.

4. Installation / Native Content Updater:
The updates appear in the "Updates" section of Native Instruments "Service Center". If not, please log into your Personal Update Manager on the NI website:

SonicCouture DDR Toy Piano MULTiFORMAT | 1.1 GB

We don’t know much about this particular instrument’s history - a friend of Soniccouture, Tom Heywood ( Discography ), who runs Normal Bias studios in Berlin, found it in one of the city’s many flea markets. It was sold to him by a vendor who specialises in DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) era collectibles. It is a child’s toy piano, made of plastic.

It has a wonderfully clanky, bell like tone with very loud, distinctive key-off sounds as the keys disengage. The instrument was recorded with a spaced stereo pair of vintage Neumann mics, in Normal Bias Studios, Berlin in August 2011.

Soniccouture Synthi AKS KONTAKT EXS24 DVDR | 1.04 GB

The E.M.S. Synthi AKS is a legendary instrument with an illustrious history. First manufactured in 1972 by E.M.S in Putney, South-West London, The Synthi A was basically a portable version of EMS's famous VCS3 synthesiser, and the KS Keyboard (a playable 30-note touchplate) was added to make the Synthi AKS. It cost 420lb. It was quickly adopted by the likes of Brian Eno and Pink Floyd, and has been used by experimental musicians ever since. The Synthi has a unique patching system that uses a small patchbay grid. Each of the Synthi's components appear as a source and destination on the patchbay, and by placing a pin into that x-y position, you can route the signal from one component to the other. This was a very effective way to make a powerful modular system very compact.

The Raw Sound of Ancient Analogue Synthesis
We love soft synths, and have been using them for years. However, they just can't replicate the sheer exhilarating thrill of a bunch of 30 year old oscillators snarling through the most famous Ring-Modulator ever built! For this reason, we decided that the best of both worlds would be to build a sampled instrument that would give us the unmistakeable Synthi sound, complete with adjustable convolution spring reverb, at our fingertips all the time - tuned, looped and stable. It can also be played polyphonically if you wish, which is certainly not something you could do with it in 1972!.

There is also a set of oddities that didn't fit into either category.

CineOrch is an orchestral mockup enhancer for the professional composer. We hired a worldclass 70 piece orchestra in a gorgeous space and sampled an enormous variety of chords, in major, minor, augmented and in a variety of inversions and articulations across the spectrum. In addition, we grabbed full orchestral tutti octaves, and lush low muted warm chords.

Why record octaves and chords instead of the standard way of sampling

Short answer: We think it offers an option that is much quicker to compose with, while yielding remarkably realistic results.

Long answer: One of the main things that makes a mockup sound fake is the layered sample number. For example, if you have a string patch that has 40 strings playing and you play a 5 note chord, thats the equivalent to the sound of 200 strings. Not exactly your typical string section.

To avoid this, you either need an intelligent scripting that splits up the notes of the chord into their respective sections (like the voice leading engine in VOXOS), or record a large variety of chordal possibilities and trigger them with single keys, thereby maintaining the natural instrument numbers and orchestral balance and panning.

We chose the latter, and the result is a composers orchestral library supplement that fills a niche (in keeping with the Cinesamples philosophy).

FileMaker Pro is a crossplatform relational database application from FileMaker Inc., formerly Claris, a subsidiary of Apple Inc. FileMaker evolved from a DOS application, but was then developed primarily for the Apple Macintosh. FileMaker server briefly ran on Linux, but Linux support was abandoned with FileMaker 7, and the server currently only runs on Windows or Apple servers. A defining characteristic of FileMaker is that the database engine is integrated with the forms (screen, layouts, reports, etc.) used to access it. In this respect, it is closer in operation to desktop database systems such as Microsoft Access and FoxPro. In contrast, most largescale relational database management systems (RDBMS) separate these tasks, concerning themselves primarily with organization, storage, and retrieval of the data, and providing little to no capability for user interface development. It should be noted, however, that the storage capacity of recent versions of FileMaker far exceeds most desktop database products, and indeed approaches that of many dedicated backend systems.
Until recently, each table of a FileMaker database system was stored as a separate file (with relational links to other files) and each file had its own builtin interface capabilities. Version 7 introduced the capability of building multiple tables into one document. Compared to other RDBMS products, it is fairly easy to develop quickly and to make changes on the fly as the data structure is altered. More complex systems may introduce some separation of interface and data files and FileMaker provides the flexibility to accommodate this, but not for the full 100%.
A substantial body of professional FileMaker developers has grown up around the product and provides the expertise required for complex systems and implementations. A certification program was introduced by FileMaker Inc. in 2004 to provide differentiation of professionals in the field. FileMaker also provides an interface (API) for integration of thirdparty tools, making it highly extensible. In addition there are a variety of web publishing options suited to both lowend and larger scale project requirements.

Regarding the application of a new activator for SW2010-2011 has already broken off the old activator
The new actuator can (and should!) Used for SW2010-2012 32/64bit any service packs, but nada to keep in mind the following
1) In the setup (or by editing the registry) must be entered serial numbers not only for the SW, but for all SOSMOS (SW Simulation, SW Motion and SW Flow Simulatuin)
Ceriynik for the self-SW may be those specified in the readme crowbar or any other valid lokalnyimi (not the network!)
Serials for COSMOS should be only those listed in the readme to a crowbar!
2) When activated, SW2010-2011 HAS PREVIOUS ACTIVATOR Break off, you must first restore the original files (fnp_act_installer.dll, swactwiz.exe, swactwiz_libFNP.dll and swlmwiz.exe) which replaced the old activator! Orinalnye files must be exactly of the same version and service pack of SW2010-2011 that really set!
If the replacement of native files from the old patched activator you did not save their backups, you need to reinstall SW2010-2011 prior to the activation of a new activator
