The upcoming upgrades are,<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">2 sticks of 1GB DDR-II 667 to bring the total RAM amount to 3GB</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">19" LCD monitor (because I can give the current CRT to dad to use with the old PC)</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">DirectX10 video card, when they are available. Not easy to run Vista on this integrated graphics chip and games run very badly on it</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">ADSL Router - because my current ADSL modem 's driver support is pathetic and there's a 100% probability that it won't get a signed Vista 64bit driver, as I'm looking forward to moving into 64-bit computing</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">IDE to USB converter - so I can use my 160GB IDE drive as a portable drive</li> </ul>The not-so-crucial parts are,<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Audigy X-Fi class soundcard  + good 5.1 speakers</li> </ul></blockquote>
