Anyone have a clue what could have caused the floor of my front passenger seat to get soaking wet? also the coolant level goes down

Most probably your heater core corroded and is leaking..

Another most common issue is there is a water draining hose coming out from passenger side to the engine compartment, If it's blocked it will leak water.Any simple auto a/c garage can solve the issue.

As to the engine coolant level going down It can be either water pump leaking or radiator cap is leaking.

I guess in your case heater core is shot.
