Nalanda Vidyalaya's past pupils Dr. Charitha Prabhath Rangana Seneviratne and several others who saved the lives of persons who were caught in the fires that broke out with the LTTE terrorist bomb blast at Nugegoda on November 28 were honoured with the Nalanada Charithadarsha award recently.
Chief Custodian of the Dalada Maligawa, Kandy, Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela Bandara – who also is a Nalanada past pupil – presented the award to Dr. Rangana Seneviratne.
