The National museum situated in Cinnamon Gardens has been broken into by a set of thieves last night who have stolen traditional swords and coins that were placed in the museum.
Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said that there is no breakthrough as to the culprits yet. “Seven swords and a few coins have been found to be missing; there has been no breakthrough yet. Both the CID and the Cinnamon Gardens Police are conducting further investigations into the incident”
