A Lieutenant Commander of the Navy who was on holiday had drowned in the NachchaduwaLake in Anuradapura, Navy Spokesman Captain Athula Senarath told Daily Mirror online.
According to reports, Navy Lieutenant Commander Rajapaksa, former Member of Parliament (MP) Uduwe Dhammalokathero and popular actor Jackson Anthony had gone to the lakeside, and the fatal incident had occurred when the Lieutenant Commander had gone for a swim.

The disease is one my batch mate. He has fought for this country for 12 years. my heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. please show respect to the navy officer who died in the lake. accidents can happen anytime, anywhere. even animals cry when someone passes away. these humans are not even close to the animals who make fun of the deceased. sorry. long way to see humans in sri lanka.
