    Problem 01

    I have BlackBerry 9700...
Once i try to connect it to my office Wifi connection, it automatically detect WEP as security type and ask me to enter some hex value with 10 or 26 characrters... actually Wifi has a security key of 6 letters... hw to connect by using that particular password?

    Problem 02

I have a dialog HSDPA SIM dat i got for my modem, hw can i setup HSDPA settings for BlackBerry for that Sim and surf the net.

    thanks :)

seriously doubt that your wifi network has wep encryption. wep has either 13 or 26 character codes. More like its a WPA-PSK2 encryption. Best thing is to get details on your office wifi first.

AFAIK, you cannot just use any sim with APN settings to get internet on blackberrries. you have to get blackberry internet access from your provider. So call the provider.

well i think they dont have any encryptions, for laptops also we just use a security key. Once i manually configure it without any security type it doesnt get validated :baffled:

    thanks machan :)

if there's a security key to use, then there is some form of encryption in use. Its usually either WEP or WPA-PSK2.
